Five Weirs - Planning a Visit?

Signage

The signage along the walk is generally good and, bearing in mind that you are following a major river, you SHOULD be able to follow the route ok. Sometimes the signs say "Five Weirs Walk", sometimes "TPT" (Trans-Pennine Trail); it is one and the same walk. Nevertheless, we would recommend that you obtain guidance from one of the following:

Guidebook, Brochure and Map

To make the most of your visit, we would recommend that you obtain a copy of the superb guidebook. Click below for details.

  • Guidebook

A hard copy of the brochure (including map) can be obtained by request; please use the "contact us" link on this site. Alternatively, Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster Tourist Offices will normally have one.

To download a copy of the map, please click on "Map" in the table of links, below.
