The Five Weirs Walk Trust Ltd is a registered charity set up in 1986. Its primary aim is to open up the 7.5km of River Don to public access through Sheffield's East End.
The Trust's activities are carried out by the Directors supported by a network of volunteers, many of whom have registered as "Friends" of the Trust in order to be included in information mailings etc.
Activities include Clean Ups, Educational Talks, Guided Walks and to provide assistance for those with an interest in the walk for educational purposes etc. Details of planned activities will be posted on this website.
